CaShawn was born and raised in Washington, DC. She studies Early Care and Education with a concentration in infants and toddlers at the University of DC. She has worked in Early Childhood Education since 1998 and exclusively with children under three and their families since 2001. CaShawn is a student doula and will be fully certified in prenatal/ labor and birthing/postpartum doula care in 2013.
