in early childhood development and the operation of child development centers as
well as deep and extensive experience in the Jubilee Housing community. Its members are:
Gail C. Arnall, Ph.D. - Executive Director of Offender Aid and Restoration,
serving Arlington, Alexandria, and Falls Church,VA, formerly Board Member of Reading
is Fundamental Distance Learning Network, President and sole owner of Phoebus Communications
for 17 years, an educational technology consulting firm that implemented and managed
nationwide distance learning networks, served on The Family Place Board in D.C.
for 21 years.
Ann Barnet, MD - Professor of Neurology and Pediatrics, Emeritus at George
Washington University School of Medicine, Neurologist and EEG Evoked Response Laboratory
Director (retired) at Children's Hospital of Washington, D.C., author, with Richard
Barnet of The Youngest Minds: Parenting and Genes in the Development of Intellect
and Emotion, Founder of The Family Place, a family support center for low-income
expectant parents and families of young children.
Susan Bell - Vice Chair; LCSW, therapist in independent practice, religious
