Subsidy Program: Jubilee JumpStart accepts District of Columbia childcare
subsidies.
Program Highlights: Jubilee JumpStart's program focuses on two key research
findings; (1) that consistent nurturing relationships are crucial for both the intellectual
and the social-emotional growth of children; and (2) that an evidence-informed curriculum
that begins in infancy and continues up to kindergarten supports a child's social-emotional,
language, and cognitive development, which are vital to the child's success in school
and in later life. Based on studies that show such programs make a marked improvement
in the social, academic, and work success of children, Jubilee JumpStart will utilize
the Creative Curriculum and Learning Games to develop an Abecedarian/Creative Curriculum
model program, providing reflective and responsive care for infants, toddlers, and
preschoolers. Jubilee JumpStart is a dual language immersion program that supports
the development of two languages (English-Spanish) in young children. Jubilee JumpStart
will build strong partnerships with families to enhance their capacity to meet their
children's needs through support, education and guidance.
Enrollment Process: Families may pre-register their children for the Jubilee
JumpStart waitlist, by completing a pre-enrollment registration and submitting this
with a $25.00 per child, registration fee. As enrollment opportunities come available,
Jubilee JumpStart will offer enrollment to families following the priority and waitlist
guidelines.
